Design for X
Design for Manufacture
PCBs are designed to provide ease of manufacture, minimising manufacturing defects to improve quality and lower cost.
Design for Test
PCBs incorporate automated testing (where required), including: Self-Test, In-circuit testing (ICT), and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI).
Design for Reliability
Reliability requirements are analysed and validated using MTBF calculations (Mean Time Between Failure) and FMEA Analysis (Failure Mode and Effects).
Design for Quality
Quality has a direct impact on the product's success. Manufacturing costs are reduced by improving yields, through careful design with appropriate technologies. Quality checks are incorporated at all stages of our process.
Design for Sustainability
We aim to reduce the carbon footprint as much as possible, through careful component selection utilising recycled materials and green manufacturing processes where possible.
Design for Cost
All aspects of cost are considered for every design. Including the development cost and the ongoing cost of production. Individual component costs and component availability are considered at this stage - minimising manufacturing delays.
