Emergency Light Tester ("the App") is developed by NtroniQ. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Data We Collect

Crash Reports & Diagnostics

We automatically collect crash logs and diagnostic information when the App encounters errors. This includes:

  • • Device type and model
  • • Operating system version
  • • App version
  • • Crash stack traces
  • • App state at time of crash

This data is collected via Firebase Crashlytics (Google).

App Usage Data

We collect basic app interaction data to understand how the App is used and monitor app health:

  • • App opens
  • • Screen views

This data is collected automatically via Firebase Analytics (Google). We do NOT collect advertising identifiers (AD_ID).

Purchase Information

We query your subscription status from Google Play to enable Pro features. Purchase tokens are processed in memory only and are not stored by our App. Your purchase history is managed entirely by Google Play.

Local Data (Stored on Your Device Only)

The following data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

  • • Location names and zones you create
  • • Test records and results
  • • Tester names and signatures
  • • Photos attached to test records
  • • App settings and preferences

2. How We Use Your Data

Purchase status To enable/disable Pro features

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third-party services:

  • • Google/Firebase (Crashlytics, Analytics) - for crash reporting and usage analytics
  • • Google Play - for subscription and purchase verification

4. Data Retention

  • • Crash reports and analytics: Retained according to Google/Firebase default retention policies
  • • Purchase data: Not stored locally by our App (managed by Google Play)
  • • Local data: Retained on your device until you delete it

5. Your Rights & Choices

  • • Crash reporting and analytics collection is automatic and cannot be disabled within the App
  • • All test data, locations, and settings are stored locally on your device only
  • • You can delete all local data by clearing app data in your device settings or uninstalling the App

6. Data We Do NOT Collect

We want to be clear about what we do not collect:

  • • We do NOT collect your name, email, or personal contact information
  • • We do NOT collect location or GPS data
  • • We do NOT use advertising identifiers (AD_ID)
  • • We do NOT require account creation or login
  • • Test records, photos, and signatures remain on your device unless you choose to share them

7. User-Initiated Data Sharing

You may choose to email test reports (PDF) containing location names, test results, tester name, and signature. This sharing is entirely optional and initiated only by you through your device's email application.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
